The Warnock for Georgia campaign, the Democratic Party of Georgia, and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee filed the lawsuit against Georgia arguing against the Peach State’s legislators’ desire to restrict early voting.
Senator Warnock won the popular vote in the midterms, but he did not get over 50 percent of the vote. So state law called for a runoff election against his opponent, retired football player and Trump man, Herschel Walker in early December, according to The Democracy Docket:
