This Easter Sunday, Donald Trump went on his personal account on his knock-off social media site Truth Social and once again ranted in a way that makes you wonder about the truthfulness of past occasions when he’s described himself as a so-called stable genius.
He said: “HAPPY EASTER TO ALL, INCLUDING THOSE THAT DREAM ENDLESSLY OF DESTROYING OUR COUNTRY BECAUSE THEY ARE INCAPABLE OF DREAMING ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE, THOSE THAT ARE SO INCOMPETENT THEY DON’T REALIZE THAT HAVING A BORDER AND POWERFUL WALL IS A GOOD THING, & HAVING VOTER I.D., ALL PAPER BALLOTS, & SAME DAY VOTING WILL QUICKLY END MASSIVE VOTER FRAUD, & TO ALL OF THOSE WEAK & PATHETIC RINOS, RADICAL LEFT DEMOCRATS, SOCIALISTS MARXISTS, & COMMUNISTS WHO ARE KILLING OUR NATION, REMEMBER, WE WILL BE BACK!”
How do people like this? Obviously, the idea that Trump’s political opponents are “dreaming” of the destruction of the United States is just flat-out ridiculous. It’s also nonsensical to continue to allege that the southern border is somehow open or that much of anyone in a position of actually substantive power wants such to happen. The southern border isn’t “open”! Obviously, there’s also no “massive” voter fraud unfolding anywhere in the country — and it remains ridiculous to describe anyone in a position of significant power in the Democratic Party as somehow supporting Communism. Joe Biden and other Democratic leaders have touted their support for domestic industries — industries remaining separate from the government! — like technology, construction, and clean energy. They’ve sought better tax frameworks for people involved in, say, implementing clean energy technologies into their work and lives. It’s not Communism!
