Trump Has All-Caps Mental Breakdown After He’s Hit With Dozens More Felony Charges

As could be expected, Donald Trump is still posting angrily about his recent indictment from federal authorities on allegations of willful retention of classified documents and attempted obstruction, and it’s getting weirder.

“AMERICA WENT TO SLEEP LAST NIGHT WITH TEARS IN ITS EYES,” he said early Saturday on Truth Social, which is his own site. “SOMEDAY SOON, HOWEVER, IT WILL BE ABLE TO WIPE AWAY THOSE TEARS AND SMILE, BIGGER THAN EVER BEFORE, FOR WE WILL HAVE DEFEATED THE THE RADICAL LEFT MARXISTS, FASCISTS, COMMUNISTS, LUNATICS, & DERANGED MANIACS, & CLEARED THE PATH TO PUT AMERICA FIRST & THEN, QUICKLY, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!”

It is factually inaccurate to characterize the investigations Trump has faced as politically motivated. That just isn’t how it’s worked. In reality, dedicated and sometimes expansive teams have contributed work to these investigations, with multiple layers of review firmly built into the process. That culminated in necessary approval from a grand jury — meaning a group of relatively ordinary citizens — before the charges became official. It’s the same for the indictment that Trump recently faced in a Manhattan criminal case connected to hush money given to Stormy Daniels before the 2016 election. There, a jury provided necessary final approval before the charges, which concern allegedly falsified business records, were made official.

It’s not politics, partly because it’s not even just the tangentially political figures who are completely responsible for these cases!

There have been concerns about a presence from Trump supporters when Trump makes an upcoming court appearance in the new federal case, though it’s worth noting that nothing much in terms of a volatile reaction from his fans ever really materialized after he was charged in the New York case. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) showed up in New York City… and was quickly drowned out by protests and left.
