Stormy Daniels testified again in the Trump criminal trial currently taking place in New York City on Thursday, where jurors had the opportunity to hear directly from the woman whose pre-2016 election hush money connected to an alleged sexual encounter with Trump helped spur the entire case.

Trump is accused of falsifying business records connected to repayments for Michael Cohen, a former ally of the ex-president’s who provided Daniels with the money. Prosecutors also allege a concurrent ambition of impacting the 2016 presidential election in a manner favorable to Trump’s campaign.

After proceedings wrapped up Thursday, Trump began ranting online — again, arguably getting even more intense. The complaints followed a rejection by the judge of another push by the Trump defense team for declaring a mistrial.

“THIS CROOKED JOE BIDEN INSPIRED TRIAL IS AN ATTACK ON HIS POLITICAL OPPONENT, AND ON AMERICA ITSELF. THE CORRUPT AND HIGHLY CONFLICTED JUDGE, JUAN MERCHAN, IS PRESIDING OVER THE DEATH OF THE NEW YORK CITY AND STATE SYSTEM OF JUSTICE. THE WORLD IS WATCHING!!!” Trump furiously claimed on social media.

Trump has tried — incessantly — to link Biden and/or the current president’s White House team to legal troubles that he’s facing, but there’s just no proof of Biden secretly orchestrating things. As for the ex-president’s broader claims, they’re also rather hollow. One guy — Trump — facing a single criminal case that’s moving forward in a way he predictably doesn’t like does not somehow entail the death of the justice system in New York City, New York state, or anywhere else, including the U.S. as a whole. That’s just not a logical leap.
