Usually, the more Donald Trump tweets the more shaken he is. The president appears to dread Robert Mueller III coming to town next week. The man who occasionally sits in the Oval Office talks about the Democrats wanting a “redo” of former special counsel Mueller’s investigation. That is not accurate. The House’s investigative committees will be looking into areas that Mueller completely ignored, such as the president’s financial records, because the special counsel did not consider them in his mandate. Instead of doing presidential things, POTUS is at it again. These tweets are wilder yet.
Trump dated himself with the use of the phrase “bites at the apple.” He was asking how many time does obstruction need to be addressed:
‘Now the Democrats have asked to see 12 more people who have already spent hours with Robert Mueller, and spent a fortune on lawyers in so doing. How many bites at the apple do they get before working on Border Loopholes and Asylum. They also want to interview the highly……’
Trump quoted Mueller as saying he was “done.” Then for fun, 45 threw in a couple of slurs against the man, calling him “conflicted and compromised:”
‘….conflicted and compromised Mueller again. He said he was “done” after his last 9 minute speech, and that he had nothing more to say outside of the No Collusion, No Obstruction, Report. Enough already, go back to work! I won, unanimously, the big Emoluments case yesterday!’
The president decided to invite media groups from the dark corners of social media, because they support him. Trump completely ignored companies such as Twitter and Google:
‘Will be a big and exciting day at the White House for Social Media!’
Then, he tried to turn farmers’ frustration against him for having their crops decay in the fields in another direction, onto China. The truth was: the president’s tariffs were at fault, ergo, the president:
‘Mexico is doing great at the Border, but China is letting us down in that they have not been buying the agricultural products from our great Farmers that they said they would. Hopefully they will start soon!’
Now that the commander-in-chief got the U.K.’s ambassador to resign, he appeared more giving around the U.K., France, and Germany:
‘“It seems that the Brits and the French and the Germans are coming around to the idea that the Iranians are up to no good!” @BillHemmer @FoxNews’
‘Dow just hit 27,000 for first time EVER!’
Then, Trump was off to patting himself on the back for his presidential act of helping out the ever-important 2020 election state of Pennsylvania:
‘So happy that I was able to keep Sikorsky Helicopter in the Great State of Pennsylvania. KEEP AMERICA GREAT!’
