Back when it was easier to laugh at Trump’s ridiculous vanity, a story broke that Trump had fake Time magazine covers featuring his face hung in his resorts to impress customers. Even after he was exposed for the lie, the fake covers remained.
Time’s latest magazine cover really does feature Trump; however, it’s unlikely that he’ll be hanging it anywhere. It’s more likely that he’ll rant and rail on Twitter about it.
It was on June 12 when this two-year-old Honduran asylum-seeker was photographed by @jbmoorephoto, crying as her mother was detained near the U.S.-Mexico border. Nine days later—her image having helped force a president's hand—she's on the cover of TIME. https://t.co/DAtIpMoUUK pic.twitter.com/k3FRvqWpUw

Trump found out this week where the red line is from both political parties as they watched this cruel policy be enacted. Despite Trump’s supporters’ claims to be “the silent majority” – they are neither silent nor the majority – the wave of backlash over this child abuse forced the president’s hand in signing an executive order to end the policy of separating children from their parents at the border.
He did not, however, include a plan to reunite the children who have already been separated and thrown into detention centers with their parents. Americans still have no idea where the shelters that hold girls, toddlers, and infants are held. The White House only released their sanitized version of video of the inside of these centers that featured older boys because it’s far easier to convince folks that Trump is locking up dangerous gang members if all they see is boys of that age.
Anyone with a brain didn’t buy this dog-whistle racism and lies. Twitter let Trump know that he’s now crossed far too many lines. See some of their responses below:
