In yet another book that describes the White House as a place of chaos and incompetence under Donald Trump, Bob Woodward’s Fear: Donald Trump in the White House describes an incredulous and frustrated staff as well as a bumbling idiot who understands very little about foreign policy, domestic policy, history, the Constitution, or anything else, for that matter.
Trump, the “very stable genius,” is predictably losing his mind over it.
Trump inevitably reverts back to complaining about the unfairness and inadequacy of libel laws when reports about him are unflattering, yet he doesn’t actually file lawsuits against the reporters for libel. It’s not difficult to imagine why that might be.
The presidential administration that has taken irony to all-new levels cannot possibly be obtuse enough to register the irony in Trump’s tweets. The same man who began his political career by screaming racist accusations that the first black president of the U.S. was born in Kenya and had issued a fake birth certificate to rabid, cheering crowds is now complaining about libel. Seriously.
Lest anyone also forget, Trump also led a presidential campaign that included accusing his challengers of adultery, family involvement in the assassination of President Kennedy, “acid washing” internet servers, and insisting The National Enquirer should win a Pulitzer Prize after publishing stories on Hillary Clinton’s alien baby and her near-death health status.
Twitter was quick to remind Trump of all these things, and none of them were willing to give Trump more credibility than Bob Woodward. Read some of their comments below:
