There are less than two months to go until the midterm elections — and this past Friday, with that in sight, former President Barack Obama stepped onto the national scene and delivered a scathing rebuke of President Donald Trump and the politics that led to his rise. Friday night, CNN’s Don Lemon — whom Trump has targeted in the past — delivered a segment backing up Obama’s key points, tearing apart the Republican Party for their acceptance of Trump and all he stands for.

Obama, earlier in the day, had noted in the face of Trump and the Republicans’ racism:

‘It shouldn’t be Democratic or Republican to say that we don’t target certain groups of people based on what they look like or how they pray. We are Americans — we stand up to bullies… How hard can that be — saying that Nazis are bad?’

He added:

‘Over the past few decades, the politics of division and resentment and paranoia have unfortunately found a home in the Republican Party… it sure isn’t normal! It’s radical! It’s a vision that says the protection of our power and those who back us is all that matters, even if it hurts the country… what happened to the Republican Party?’

After airing those segments of Obama’s speech, Lemon launched into a rundown of some very recent examples of shifts in the stance of prominent Republicans who went from mouthing distaste for Trump to stumping for him left and right.

For example, before the 2016 elections, South Carolina’s U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham denounced Trump as a “kook — and the year after the elections, he denounced the media for supposedly unfairly painting Trump as a “kook.”

Lemon also presented the example of Texas’ U.S. Senator Ted Cruz, who during the lead-up to the 2016 elections, denounced Trump as a “sniveling coward” for launching jabs at his wife, Heidi. Now, Cruz can’t wait to jump aboard the Trump Train, though, having penned a short piece praising the president for TIME magazine’s list of the 100 most influential people of 2017. In that piece, he called the president “a flash-bang grenade thrown into Washington by the forgotten men and women of America.”

In addition, he’s going to be campaigning with the president soon, who announced an impending rally with the Senator on Twitter. Cruz is struggling against a credible general election challenge from the surging Democrat Beto O’Rourke.

Lemon even presented clips of eventual Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway, who at one point bemoaned the danger “of just saying things that aren’t true,” speaking of Donald Trump.

Trump has literally been documented to have lied thousands upon thousands of times since taking office! Even still, Conway is still showing up to work in the White House, and she’s taken to heaping praise on him these days.

Lemon finished off the segment by noting:

‘My, how things have changed — how the Republican Party has changed. You heard them tell us, before the election, what to expect from Donald Trump. You heard President Obama tell us. And you’ve heard and you’ve seen President Trump… Now with 60 days to go until the midterms, every one of us will have the chance to be heard. Don’t waste that chance.’
