Donald Trump Jr. did not fall from the Donald Trump Sr. tree. The CNN host of AC360 noted that the president’s eldest son posted a misleading photo of Anderson Cooper on his Twitter page. The journalist’s point was that Don Jr. misrepresented Cooper by putting up his misleading post:
‘Anderson Cooper Lights Up Don Jr. For “Idiotic” Misleading Photo of CNN Host: He’s “Tweeting Lies” (VIDEO)’
The picture indicated that Cooper was kneeling in Hurricane Florence’s floodwaters to make POTUS “look bad” according to the tweet. After the show aired, Don Jr. retweeted this tweet, which kicked off the president’s eldest son’s flood of tweets:
‘And with that short segment, CNN has spent more time on this photo than it did on the Michael Cohen-Trump Tower fiasco.’
Don Jr. then sent an early morning tweet:
‘f you’re going to spend 10 minutes crying about a meme you may want to make sure you’re actually right. Good article as it shows exactly what CNN does daily to sell false truth.’
The president’s son got wound up, tweeting:
‘Instead of spending 10 minutes (incorrectly) fact checking a meme, maybe
@CNN should focus on fact checking their reporting so they don’t have another Lanny Davis/Cohen scandal? PS – I’m still waiting for an apology for the debunked Wikileaks story you wrote about me last year!’
Don Jr. continued with this tweet:
‘CNN doing what they do best. Crying & Lying.
@AC360 says I said it was a pic from Florence I said no such thing. “evidence” CNN provided doesn’t even reference Florence. You guys can’t even fact check a meme. The illusion created by the pic is illustrative of the bs you sell!’
He still was not done with his Twitter rant:
‘Not surprised
@AC360 lied about me on@CNN last night. Par for the course. I never said the pic of him was from Florence. When I tweeted out the picture of@AC360 it was with a link to an article about CNN’s dwindling ratings. Nothing to do with Florence.’
