Trump Confiscated Translator’s Notes During Meetings With Putin: report

We all know that Trump’s relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin has been extremely suspicious since the 2016 election when Russia “allegedly” helped him get elected.

Since then, Special Counsel Robert Mueller has been investigating possible collusion between Trump and Russia, which of course Trump adamantly denies, succeeding only in making himself look more guilty.

Well, now it appears that Mueller will have even more ammunition against this so-called “president” because according to a new report released today by The Washington Post, U.S. officials (former and current) told the paper that our Colluder-in-Chief has been hiding details of his meetings with Putin from officials — he also reportedly confiscated a translator’s notes from a 2017 meeting in Hamburg.

The Post also said that Trump went to “extraordinary lengths” to not only hide details of these meetings but to also keep interpreters from discussing the meetings with other officials in his administration.

Of course, surprising no one, the White House responded to this report by blaming President Obama, telling WaPo that these meetings were actually being held to improve relations with Russia after our beloved former president supposedly “pursued a flawed ‘reset’ policy that sought engagement for the sake of engagement.”

The WH spokesman, who spoke to WaPo under the condition that they remain anonymous also said that the Trump administration “has imposed significant new sanctions in response to Russian malign activities.” Right… SURE they have…

CNN also reported:

‘On Thursday, prior to the publishing of The Washington Post’s story, Sen. Bob Menendez, the ranking member of the Senate Foreign Relations, told CNN that he was planing to sit down with his counterpart in the House to discuss priorities. And, he said if he had subpoena power, the first thing he’d go after would be the notes from the translator in the Putin meeting.
‘”I’d like to get the notes of the meeting that the President had with Putin. There was a translator so I’m sure she took notes down simultaneously in order to translate. Unless she’s destroyed them, they would be of interest,” he said.’

There are no new reports at this time on whether or not Robert Mueller is considering this new information as part of his ongoing investigation, but we’ll keep you updated as more details come in. Hopefully, someone will get their hands on those translator notes.
