Donald Trump appears to be bored and sulking in bed on a late Thursday morning. His Twitter habits are always indicative of his current mood, and that’s definitely the atmosphere around his tweets today. After all, criticism is just too much for the grown orange baby in the White House.
Trump has repeatedly conflated this issue for his own political and personal purposes, but it’s not difficult to discern where he’s going wrong and missing the very obvious nuances. Chuck Schumer did criticize former FBI Director James Comey for making a legal judgment that wasn’t his to make around the Clinton investigation and for making an investigation public shortly before the 2016 presidential elections.
It isn’t, however, only Schumer who believes that Trump firing the man who was leading the investigation into his campaign’s alleged criminal conspiracy with Kremlin government operatives to commit cyberattacks was obstruction of justice. Apparently, the rest of the FBI and the current special investigator assigned to make that determination is asking that question, as well.
Trump’s source of frustration comes from growing bombshells around the Mueller probe and his failure to convince Congress to give him five billion dollars in taxpayer funding because he promised his supporters a wall. The idea of him calling anyone “unhinged” is the very definition of irony. After all, the American public has watched the president go into complete meltdown mode throwing tantrums like a toddler because he’s not getting his way.
Twitter wasn’t buying Trump’s lines, either. Read some of their comments below:
