Donald Trump is engaged in despicable behavior once again. Just because POTUS is doing it in full public view does not make it less of a crime. His previous personal attorney and self-described fixer’s wife was so terrified of Trump’s witness intimidation, she cries every night. This is the consequence for the president.
The 45th president has been acting as if there are no consequences to his action of witness tampering against Michael Cohen, Cohen’s wife, and Cohen’s father-in-law. Of course, his latest tweets about Cohen, Secretary Hillary Clinton (D-NY), and North Korea’s leader Kim Jong Un may just be distractions. After all, Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) beat him to a pulp, so the commander-in-chief tweeted:
‘So interesting that bad lawyer Michael Cohen, who sadly will not be testifying before Congress, is using the lawyer of Crooked Hillary Clinton to represent him – Gee, how did that happen? Remember July 4th weekend when Crooked went before FBI & wasn’t sworn in, no tape, nothing?
‘The Fake News Media loves saying “so little happened at my first summit with Kim Jong Un.” Wrong! After 40 years of doing nothing with North Korea but being taken to the cleaners, & with a major war ready to start, in a short 15 months, relationships built, hostages & remains….
‘…back home where they belong, no more Rockets or M’s being fired over Japan or anywhere else and, most importantly, no Nuclear Testing. This is more than has ever been accomplished with North Korea, and the Fake News knows it. I expect another good meeting soon, much potential!’
Distraction has been one of Trump’s most useful tools in his toolbox macabre. Unfortunately, he is playing with one powerful woman and second in line to the president, Pelosi.
The government needs to open, and she will not let him change the subject.
