Even after 42 days of avoiding the press, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders has not lost her touch. She avoided questions as easily as a fox escapes from the hounds. The press secretary can still pivot from the subject at hand to the gruesome and grotesque as easily and as an ice-skater skips across the ice toward beauty. Sanders can stare right into the eye of the media and lie as well as her boss, maybe even better.
When Sanders called on CNN’s chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta, he was ready to hold her to task for lying about “Democrats hating Jews:”
‘CNN’s Jim Acosta called out Sarah Sanders for lying about Democrats hating Jews during the White House press briefing.’

Sanders actually said that Democrats hate Jews:
‘I think the real shame in all of this that Democrats are perfectly capable of coming they have a hard time condemning the type of comments from Congresswoman Omar. I think it is a great shame, the president has been clear on what his position is and certainly that his support is for the people or the community of Israel. Beyond that, I don’t have anything further for you.’
Then, Acosta said:
‘You are saying something that’s just patently untrue.;
Sanders moved deftly:
‘Stating their policy positions is not patently untrue.’
Acosta stayed on point, relying only on the facts:
‘Stating the policy positions is not untrue. Democrats don’t hate Jewish people; it is not true.’
