After a full week of devastating news for the White House – including Mueller’s investigators saying that Trump isn’t nearly as innocent as he’s saying he is, the revelation about Trump’s son-in-law being denied security clearance for “personal conduct” and “foreign influence,” and viral memes about “wind cancer” – Trump chose to vent all of his frustrations on Twitter. It didn’t go well.

Trump’s response to the Mueller team’s statements has so far been to dismiss it as “fake news” from The New York Times, but it seems he’ll now have help with that from his favorite state-run media outlet, an actual fake news source, Fox News.
One of the many random blondes who weigh in on politics and repeat Trump talking points for a living says that Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), chairman of the House Oversight Committee, has an agenda in requesting the full Mueller report be released to Congress, something Trump fully agreed with until about five minutes before the investigation was complete. Trump seems to think that Fox News’s opinion on the matter really means…something.
Trump is also facing a tough 2020 race, so he needs to revive his “build that wall” promises for his followers, as well as having someone to blame since he didn’t keep any of his promises the first time. Amidst threats to close the border, thousands of migrants came to the border seeking asylum, fearing they wouldn’t get another chance. Trump’s “zero tolerance” policy of detaining them all has created overcrowded detention centers and horrifying conditions. To cover, Trump blames the Democrats for the entire mess. The crisis is the one Trump created, but his supporters aren’t smart enough to get that, so Trump will continue to deflect.
Twitter, however, is smart enough to get it. Read some of their comments below:
