Donald Trump has a team minions in the House of Representatives. They are all House Freedom Caucus devotees and are willing to sacrifice their reputation, place in history, and even freedom for POTUS. Several of them have performed acts for the president that step right on the edge of illegality.
Representative Devin Nunes (R-CA) had to step down from the House Intelligence Committee chair for misconduct. Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL) made remarks to Trump’s former personal attorney and fixer that made Michael Cohen very uncomfortable about his and his family’s safety. As Cohen testified against POTUS, Gaetz stood just outside of the cameras’ eyes but just in view of the attorney. Now, Gaetz has filed what he called the Pencil Act, which is a take-off on a slur to House Intelligence Committee Chair Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA). Trump called him a “Pencil Neck.” Both come right out of a fifth grader’s playbook. Gaetz tweeted:

#BREAKING: Today I filed the “PENCIL Act,” expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that “Congressman Adam Schiff should be removed from the House Intelligence Committee and his security clearance immediately revoked.”’
The resolution formally entitled Preventing Extreme Negligence with Classified Information Licenses called for Schiff resign from being the chair of the House Intelligence Committee and revoke his security clearance. The resolution read:
‘(Schiff) can no longer be trusted by his colleagues in Congress or the American people. It is the sense of the House of Representatives that Congressman Adam Schiff should be removed from the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence of the House and that his security clearance should be revoked immediately.’
