W.H. Stunned After Trump Approval Rating Take Dramatic Nose-Dive

Wednesday was a pretty eventful day on Capitol Hill, with Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s testimony regarding his investigation into Trump’s involvement with Russian meddling during the 2016 presidential election.

In case you missed it:

Trump did as Trump does after all of this was finished — proclaiming his innocence — but we don’t want you to forget about his racist actions this past week when he announced to the world that four highly respected Congresswomen of color should go “back to their home countries.”

We also don’t want you to forget the way he doubled-down about it at his most recent “I’m president and you’re not” rally in North Carolina, while people in the audience chanted, “SEND HER BACK” and “SEND THEM BACK.”

Here’s a reminder:

His words in those instances have taken their toll, and he would really hate it if we told you how much his poll numbers have dropped in this past week — especially with minority voters.

According to a Hill-HarrisX poll released on Wednesday:

‘The survey, which was conducted from July 20-21, finds that 23 percent of Hispanic voters approve of Trump’s job performance, a 16-point decrease from a previous poll conducted between July 8 and 9.

‘The poll indicates that Trump’s approval is down to 13 percent among African American voters, marking a 5-point drop from two weeks ago. Trump’s approval rating has also dipped 3 points among Asian American voters, now standing at 57 percent.

‘HarrisX researchers surveyed 1,003 registered voters. The poll has an overall margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points.’

The four Congresswomen also now known as “The Squad,” are Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts and Rashida Tlaib of Michigan.

All of the women have come forward with responses to our so-called “president’s” attacks, but Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) perhaps said it best when she told Authentically Detroit that Trump’s attacks are a distraction from what’s really at play here; He’s trying to secretly change asylum laws, and we can’t let that happen.
