Donald Trump’s salesman spiel usually includes black-and-white thinking with a huge chunk of grandiosity thrown into the mix. He claims the two Muslim congresswomen “hate jews,” and that he is a “stable genius.” Here is another one.
POTUS tweeted that the Democrats wanted “open borders and crime!” That did not make any sense. The idea that about half of the nation wanted crime was absurd. Just ask any Democrat how they feel about crime:
‘Democrats want Open Borders and Crime! So dangerous for our Country. But we are building a big, beautiful, NEW Wall! I will protect America, the Dems don’t know where to start!’
POTUS has been talking about his wall since the start of his first campaign in 2016. He also showed his deeply ingrained hatred toward people of color. He claimed immigrants coming up to the U.S. through the nation’s border with Mexico were “Criminals, Drug Dealers, and Rapists.”
Trump has spent his leadership time doodling with the appearance of that imaginary wall he wanted to build along the country’s southern border. According to The Washington Post:
‘…Trump is micromanaging the wall project in an effort to ensure that it is “physically imposing but also aesthetically pleasing.” Some of his ideas have a degree of cruel functionality to them, such as his reported desire to paint the steel structure black, so it soaks up the heat of the sun and becomes more difficult to climb, or for it to be adorned with sharp spikes that could cut the hands of would-be climbers. ‘
