Donald Trump takes great pleasure at adding to the pain and suffering of refugees fleeing horrific violence and bone-crushing poverty. Apparently, a win is a win is a win for him. This is not the role model Americans want for their children. Look at this.
Here POTUS was celebrating the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) ruling in his favor. His White House has also sent letters deporting seriously ill and dying children to certain death, because treatment was not available in their country of origin:
‘Some really big Court wins on the Border lately!’
Once again, Trump laid the foundation for his AK-15 toting followers to agree that he should not leave office– regardless of the 2020 presidential election results:
‘“Dems have never gotten over the fact that President Trump won the Election!” @GOPLeader McCarthy’
The Supreme Court ruled that the new Trump White House rule limiting most Central American refugees seeking asylum from entering the U.S. could stand. At least until the courts looked into it. This rule stated that these refugees must seek asylum in any country they pass through on their way to America.
These refugees have been fleeing horrendous violence and dire poverty. Yet, Trump tweeted:
‘BIG United States Supreme Court WIN for the Border on Asylum!’
Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Sonia Sotomayor dissented from the opinion with Sotomayor writing:
‘Once again, the Executive Branch has issued a rule that seeks to upend longstanding practices regarding refugees who seek shelter from persecution.’
