It appears that every Donald Trump action now is geared toward pulling off a big win in the 2020 presidential election. He has approached his victory goal from a number of directions. POTUS wants to goldbrick the economy, attack the Democrats, and demean his office. He continued tweeting in an attempt to bamboozle his voters.
He okayed the Republican sit-in to interrupt the impeachment inquiry and praised their efforts, then he claimed a top record in American history:
‘Thank you to House Republicans for being tough, smart, and understanding in detail the greatest Witch Hunt in American History. It has been going on since long before I even got Elected (the Insurance Policy!). A total Scam!’
After that, the commander-in-chief went after the Federal Reserve yet again. He has been trying to bully the Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell into lowering interest rates to give a fake boost to the economy:
‘The Federal Reserve is derelict in its duties if it doesn’t lower the Rate and even, ideally, stimulate. Take a look around the World at our competitors. Germany and others are actually GETTING PAID to borrow money. Fed was way too fast to raise, and way too slow to cut!’
