Trump Flies Into Chaotic AM Post-Thanksgiving Break Twitter Fiasco

Donald Trump is not the world’s greatest reader. His top aides finally figured out that the president’s briefings boiled down to pictures and Trump’s name were the only way to hold his attention. Given that, should we read a book POTUS recommends?

As this president started his morning tweets, there should have been a warning label at the top of them. It would remind people that he defined words differently from the rest of the world. “Loyalty” has really meant “total agreement,” and news that was critical of Trump meant “fake news” in Trump world.

Okay, about that book he wanted Americans to read:

‘Great writer and historian, Doug Wead, has written a true (not Fake News) account of what is going on in Washington and the White House. His new book, INSIDE TRUMP’S WHITE HOUSE, is an incredible description of a very exciting and successful time in our Country’s history. Buy it!’

Trump’s only ace in the hole has been the U.S. economy:

“Trump Economy Breaks Holiday Shopping Records.”

He did not like it when House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said that “all roads lead to Putin.” Trump has been doing his best to rip the country in two, starting with the speaker:

‘“It is clear that there is none of the bipartisan support that Speaker Pelosi said for months was essential for Impeachment.” Chris Wallace @FoxNews’

After that, Trump tried to blame the Brazilian and Argentinian economies for his dreadful tariff debacle that has caused seventh-generation farmers to lose their farms:

‘Brazil and Argentina have been presiding over a massive devaluation of their currencies. which is not good for our farmers. Therefore, effective immediately, I will restore the Tariffs on all Steel & Aluminum that is shipped into the U.S. from those countries. The Federal…’

The commander-in-chief hit the Federal Reserve once again, trying to get his way:

‘…..Reserve should likewise act so that countries, of which there are many, no longer take advantage of our strong dollar by further devaluing their currencies. This makes it very hard for our manufactures & farmers to fairly export their goods. Lower Rates & Loosen – Fed!’

POTUS still backs his failing tariff plan:

‘U.S. Markets are up as much as 21% since the announcement of Tariffs on 3/1/2018 – and the U.S. is taking in massive amounts of money (and giving some to our farmers, who have been targeted by China)!’

As for the impeachment hearings, they have “been unfair:”

‘“The process has been unfair. Republicans can’t even get their own witnesses. It gets me that Adam Schiff is not punishable for lying, in any way.”

He tried to say Democrats were getting “killed in their home districts:”

‘“The American people are going to see this for what it is. It is a political effort by the Democrats, and the President certainly doesn’t have to aid in the Impeachment effort.” Robert Ray @MariaBartiromo Democrats are getting “killed” in their home districts. 2020!’

In another lie, the president claimed America outperformed the rest of the world. Tell that to the homeless people:

‘“The United States has outperformed the rest of the world in an eye popping fashion. I don’t think we’ve seen numbers like that.” Mohamed El-Erian, Allianz Chief Economic Adviser. But despite this there is tremendous potential for growth, far greater than most have understood!’

Twitter world went bananas. Take a look at some of our favorites below:
