Rudy Giuliani Seen Meeting With Foreign Officials In Ukraine

For the past several weeks Trump has been the focus of the entire world as the US government investigates him for impeachable offenses. You’d think that while all of this was going on, that he and his attorney, Rudy Giuliani, would want to be as inconspicuous as possible, but nope! It’s honestly like they’re trying to get busted!

In fact, Rudy is actually IN UKRAINE right now — you guessed it — trying to dig up more dirt on the Bidens for his boss.

Earlier on Friday, Giuliani was seen (and photographed, in case Republicans want to question the validity of this) meeting with several Ukraine officials, among them Andre Dukach, who has purported unsubstantiated claims against the Bidens and also proposed a joint corruption investigation between Ukraine and the United States.

Earlier on Friday, Giuliani posted this one Twitter:

First of all, there is absolutely ZERO evidence of wrongdoing by Joe Biden or his son, Hunter. Second of all, even if there were evidence, it doesn’t matter! Biden is not the President! People seem to keep forgetting that little fact…

According to the New York Times:

‘Mr. Giuliani, the president’s personal lawyer, met in Budapest on Tuesday with a former Ukrainian prosecutor, Yuriy Lutsenko, who has become a key figure in the impeachment inquiry. He then traveled to Kyiv on Wednesday seeking to meet with other former Ukrainian prosecutors whose claims have been embraced by Republicans, including Viktor Shokin and Kostiantyn H. Kulyk, according to people familiar with the effort.’

The report continues:

‘Mr. Giuliani is using the trip, which has not been previously reported, to help prepare more episodes of a documentary series for a conservative television outlet promoting his pro-Trump, anti-impeachment narrative. His latest moves to advance the theories propounded by the prosecutors amount to an audacious effort to give the president’s supporters new material to undercut the House impeachment proceedings and an eventual Senate trial.

‘It was Mr. Giuliani’s earlier interactions with some of the same Ukrainian characters that set the stage for the impeachment inquiry in the first place, and also led to an investigation by federal prosecutors into whether Mr. Giuliani violated federal lobbying laws.’

Giuliani also met with former Ukrainian diplomat Andrii Telizhenko, who has made the outrageous claim that he was instructed to collect damaging information about former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort.

U.S. officials testified last month that it was Giuliani who was urging Ukraine to announce those investigations. And, these same officials alleged that Trump’s personal attorney was conducting shadow foreign policy off the books.

Despite this shady behavior, many members of the GOP are sticking by him, saying we ought to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) said on CNN:

‘I think it’s a little weird that Rudy Giuliani is over in the Ukraine right now, and I’m not here to defend Rudy Giuliani. There’s apparently an investigation going on and that will go where it goes. But the Rudy Giuliani I know is the Rudy Giuliani who, like, fought the mob when it wasn’t a popular thing to do. He’s someone who put his life on the line in 9/11, so if there’s anyone that ought to maybe get the benefit of the doubt, it would probably be Mayor Giuliani.’

So, what is Rudy up to? Is this more distraction for the public? Is he trying to take the fall for Trump?! Whatever he’s doing, it’s shady and he needs to be locked up in a cell next to his boss.
