Donald Trump likes to hang out with the bad boys of the globe. They would be Russia’s Vladimir Putin, North Korea’s Kim Jong Un, and Turkey’s Recep Tayyip Erdoğan among others. Unfortunately, POTUS does not have the excuse Middle Ages’ royalty had to blame for his erratic kingship ways — that is of drinking out of lead vessels and damaging their brains.
Trump went into a second series of morning tweets, which usually means that he is bending under the pressures of his job. He pelted one of the top Democratic contenders Bernie Sanders (I-VT). Then, he remembered to say several somethings about coronavirus (COVID-19):
‘Going to be a BAD day for Crazy Bernie!’
He tried to pound Federal Reserve Jay Powell’s head into the mud but missed and fell back into the rancid muck. Trump scorned Schiff’s warning on “Russia, Russia, Russia” and tried to body slam House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), but she deftly stepped aside. Then, POTUS used President Ronald Reagan’s good name to slide across the swamp and into the U.S.’s hurting economy:
‘True, with number 1 being more important!’
‘Our pathetic, slow moving Federal Reserve, headed by Jay Powell, who raised rates too fast and lowered too late, should get our Fed Rate down to the levels of our competitor nations. They now have as much as a two point advantage, with even bigger currency help. Also, stimulate!’
‘The Federal Reserve must be a leader, not a very late follower, which it has been!’
‘There is another Russia, Russia, Russia meeting today. It is headed up by corrupt politician Adam “Shifty” Schiff, so I wouldn’t expect too much!
‘Nancy Pelosi just said, “I don’t know if we can be ready this week.” In other words, it’s off to vacation for the Do Nothing Democrats. That’s been the story with them for 1 1/2 years!’
‘Our CoronaVirus Team has been doing a great job. Even Democrat governors have been VERY complimentary!’
‘Ronald Reagan’s great economist, the recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, has just said great things about a Payroll Tax Cut!’
Twitter world exploded under the pressure of a flood of Trump tweets. Check out some of our favorites below:
