History shows that President George W. Bush’s top general made a terrible mistake invading Iraq. The Politifact indicated that in April 2003 Army General Richard Cody decided to quit purchasing bulletproof vests, because he thought “50,000 soldiers not on the front lines could do without them.” Donald Trump made an equally terrible mistake in the war against COVID-19.
As snipers and suicide bombers backfilled, they attacked those very soldiers. Cody realized his mistake and ordered protective vests for every solider. Still, it took 167 days to get them. Trump has not admitted to his mistake of not protecting those on the front lines of his coronavirus war, nor has he ever. Medical personnel do not have the protective gear that keeps them safe as they work with some of the sickest virus patients.
What happens? They have died, even as other medical people step up and take place, do their duty on the front lines. This is wrong. No, it is worse. This is criminal. We must not let Trump kill our nurses, our doctors, our other medical staff. Yes, they are our soldiers, and we must protect them with our voices to Congress.
If the representative and senators do not listen, fire them.
Trump tweeted boasted about his “fast action on coronavirus.” He lied:
‘Please study this closely. We saved many lives with our fast action on CoronaVirus!’

‘In light of the attack from the Invisible Enemy, as well as the need to protect the jobs of our GREAT American Citizens, I will be signing an Executive Order to temporarily suspend immigration into the United States!’
‘Fully signed and ready to go!’
‘We did it once, we will quickly do it a second time!’
‘After the pandemic passes and we can fire up our economic engine I’m truly looking forward to watching @realDonaldTrump Make America Great Again… Again!!!’
Twitter world went after Trump for saying he handled coronavirus with his “fast action.” He was wrong, and this is what Americans told him:
