It takes a strong man to appreciate strong women. The Democratic Party has found that in a star athlete. Basketball phenomenon LeBron James is that man, and here is why.

He has officially announced that he is joining the Team Biden-Harris team. The basketball star said he plans to campaign full out for former Vice President Joe Biden and Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA).

This was no small plan for him as he told VICE TV’s Cari & Jemele: Stick to Sports, The TMZ reported:

‘We are at a time where we need change. In order for change, it’s all about leadership — and leadership starts at the top.’

James started off putting the same effort into his campaigning as in his sports. In a tweet, he wrote:

‘👏🏾🙌🏾👏🏾🙌🏾✊🏾Congrats and well deserved Sen. Kamala Harris!! Love to see and support it! Appreciate you JB https://t.co/OErXQ5TqQL — LeBron James (@KingJames) August 11, 2020’

This was not the first run around the political track for “King James.” He was a strong supporter of Secretary Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential race against Donald Trump. In Ohio, he went up to the stage during one of Clinton’s rallies. This time, he is counting on a big win to catapult Biden and Harris into the White House, and he will do whatever he can to make that so.

The athlete has had his moments with Donald Trump over the course of years, according to The Washington Times. James enlisted the Los Angeles Lakers team to wear the Trump trademark red caps, with one major alteration.

Instead of reading “Make America Great Again, the 10 red hats read “Make America arrest the cops who killed Breonna Taylor.” ESPN reported:’

‘I really don’t think the basketball community are sad about losing his viewership, him viewing the game. And that’s all I got to say.’

When Jemele Hill questioned James about whether he intended to help the Biden-Harris team, he. responded:

‘I think what’s known don’t need to be said.’

The sitting president fought back by insulting James’ intelligence with his very limited vocabulary.
