BookTubers is a fascinating place under the bigger YouTube umbrella. It is a place where people basically discuss young-adult literature, but it is not limited to that genre. Sometimes, even President Barack Obama appears and answers questions from teens, little kids, and even adults. Check out what these people wanted to know about Obama today.

It occurs to us that this would be a good course for Donald Trump, Obama’s leadership course for young and very young people. They do not take remedial learners 74-years-old, but maybe they would make an exception in this POTUS’ case. On the other hand, it is probably far too late.

The young people had some intriguing questions. One young person asked President Obama why he was so fascinated with space when he was little. Obama said that he thought it showed him “anything is possible.” Another young man asked him whether the spotlight got too hot for him, and 44 agreed that it was warmer in his case:

‘But it was also a privilege.’

Another teen asked him about the role strong women had in his life. Both his mother and his grandmother were strong women.

‘It taught me we’re not going to hold girls back. We can’t afford to.’

A really little girl asked the president what it takes to be a good leader. Barack Obama responded:

‘Kindness. It takes kindness to be a good leader.’

A father asked the president how to deal with girls when they become teens. Obama laughed and said:

‘You’re in trouble brother.’

Afterward, President Obama talked about his experience:

I had some fun answering questions about #APromisedLand for BookTube. I talked to creators about everything from fatherhood, to celebrating science at the White House, to the role strong women played in my life. You can watch the full episode on @YouTube: yt.be/obamabooktube’
