Nikki Haley Ditches Trump: ‘We Shouldn’t Have Followed Him’

During his impeachment trial deux, we learn that Donald Trump tried to have his own Vice President Mike Pence assassinated. Throw in a bloodbath of Speaker Nancy Pelosi and. a boatload of legislators. And voila! King Donald is born. OAN blamed DC city planning for the mob. His first offspring said Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg (RBG) caused the riot. Imagine hundreds of little girls dressed in RBG robes and glasses dancing down the Capitol Building rotunda.

Surprisingly, former US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley broke with Donald. The Politico reported that she said her former boss “let us down:”

‘We need to acknowledge he let us down. He went down a path he shouldn’t have, and we shouldn’t have followed him, and we shouldn’t have listened to him. And we can’t let that ever happen again.’

Her time could not have been worse for 45, because his defense’s argument was scheduled for Friday. His legal team of inept attorneys needed all the help they could get after a poor initial showing. Trump was ready to fire them, but someone convinced him to hold back. After all, he had used up most of the attorneys who would help him.

The ambassador who formerly was elected to governor of South Carolina said she had not talked to Trump since January 6. She declared her disappointment with the then-president’s speech that energized his people. That was when he set his followers onto Vice President Mike Pence:

‘When I tell you I’m angry, it’s an understatement. I am so disappointed in the fact that [despite] the loyalty and friendship he had with Mike Pence, that he would do that to him. Like, I’m disgusted by it.’

What a difference a few weeks made. Haley was loyal to the core, then she jumped ship in a leap that belied her personal trainer workouts. She noted that her former boss would be “judged harshly by history:”

‘And it wasn’t just his words. His actions since Election Day will be judged harshly by history.’

Many believe that Haley could be a 2024 presidential candidate, and she said that she has a new political action committee (PAC). Regarding Trump’s election:

‘There’s nothing that you’re ever going to do that’s going to make him feel like he legitimately lost the election. He’s got a big bully pulpit. He should be responsible with it. He believes it.’

So why was Trump acting so irresponsibly? Haley explained:

‘That would be like you saying that grass is blue and you genuinely believing it. Is it irresponsible that you’re colorblind and you truly believe that? He believes he’s following that oath. This would be different if he was being deceptive.’

‘He deserves the truth. Is he hearing the truth? I don’t think certain people around him are telling him the truth.’

Haley told CNN, that Trump’s political office days were over.
