He is the ex-president’s most rabid attack Chihuahua. Once he winds himself into overdrive, Representative Jim Jordan (R-OH) must not breathe, because no one can get a word in edgewise. He bounced from being a university assistant-wrestling coach who did not see a thing as the team physician sexually molested his players to the House, no not the big house, the people’s House. These young men testified before Congress over a year ago, and they said Jordan knew, according to CNN.
One of them, Tito Vazquez, said:
‘When these complaints come and he pretends now that he had no knowledge of it, that’s betrayal in the highest level.’
In another betrayal in the highest level unfolding, the only time we have seen Representative Jordan at a loss for words was when he stood before a reporter in his annoying shirtless self. The journalist asked him whether he talked to Donald Trump on January 6. The representative hemmed and hawed, trying to escape like a rat caught on a rusty nail. He missed his calling. Jordan should have been an auctioneer.
If he had been, it might have gone something like this:
A soul for auction. One dollar bid, one dollar bid, now two, will ya give me two?’
‘Two-dollar bid, two-dollar bid, now three, now three, now three, will ya give me three? Going, going, gone! Gone to the highest bidder for three dollars.’
Even after Jordan admitted he talked to the ex-president on January 6, when Trump insurrectionists stormed the Capitol, he could not recollect when that was. The POLITICO Playbook discovered the answer in an exclusive.
After the Capitol Police officers evacuated all of the lawmakers from the House chamber to a safe place, Jordan met with another of what Trump called “his House Republicans” Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL). They called Trump begging him to get his mob to stand down. At this point in time, we did not know how the ex-POTIS responded. Jordan told POLITICO:
‘Look, I definitely spoke to the president that day. I don’t recall — I know it was more than once, I just don’t recall the times.’
Then, the reporter asked him whether the call was made for the safe room:
‘I’m sure, because we were in that room forever.’
A Gaetz spokesperson said:
‘Congressman Gaetz speaks with President Trump regularly and doesn’t disclose the substance of those discussions with the media.’
But according to POLITICO’s new find, when Trump’s actions during January 6 were broken down, it appeared:
‘Trump-Jordan discussions are likely to be of keen interest to the Democrat-led select committee on Jan. 6, which is expected to soon seek phone records of members of Congress themselves in its probe.’
No wonder Jordan has fought so hard against the idea of handing over his phone records. The House Select Committee investigation on January 6’s attempted coup should lead them to some exciting news soon, The committee could be processing of requests for Jordan’s phone records, among other Republican legislators’ records any time, according to CNN.
