It’s comical these days when a member of the Republican Party calls another member a RINO (Republican In Name Only), especially because most of them don’t seem to understand what a Republican is anymore. It used to mean adhering to certain principles about small government and paying less in taxes. Marjorie Taylor Green and Matt Gaetz, however, thinks being a Republican means blind support of the twice-impeached ex-president who lost the popular vote twice, Donald Trump.
Dear @mtgreenee only in your version of the GOP is a veteran a traitor and Trump is honest. I’m not sure people have huffed as much Jewish space laser as you. https://t.co/9sJyJ4Ycsy

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy’s greatest wish is to serve as Speaker of the House, which won’t be possible unless the “MAGA Squad,” a group of far-right xenophobic and racist members of Congress who swear allegiance to Trump and only Trump, votes him in. McCarthy, meanwhile, has become more and more like that group, refusing to acknowledge the disgusting videos that Rep. Paul Gosar posted of himself killing Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and President Biden, dismissing the 1/6 insurrection attack, and, according to Rep. Adam Kinzinger, not working with more centrist members of the Republican Party.
Kinzinger recently accused McCarthy of “begging” Marjorie Taylor Greene to support him in his quest to be speaker. Greene, meanwhile, has been making appearance with her child sex trafficking co-hort, Matt Gaetz, attacking members of her own party for daring to try to work across the aisle. Greene even called Kinzinger, who served in the U.S. military, a “traitor.”
Twitter was much more supportive of Kinzinger’s fight than Greene’s. Read some of their comments below:
