In a “failed dirty trick” several close associates of Donald Trump illegally obtained a copy of Hunter Biden’s personal information from the son’s laptop and spread it across the country in thick, distorted swaths. President Joe Biden’s surviving son has gone on the offensive and requested the Department of Justice (DOJ) open a criminal investigation into the matter.
The surviving Biden son claimed these individuals illegally accessed the personal data held in Hunter’s laptop, according to the Associated Press.
Hunter’s laptop was in a repair shop at the time, according to the New York magazine, The Intelligencer. The laptop had been there some time when the shop owner John Paul Mac Isaac fed the information held on the laptop to Donald Trump’s close associates.
The president’s youngest son’s attorneys also sent a letter to Fox News’ top host Tucker Carlson. The letter urged the celebrity to take back “false and defamatory claims” the Fox News employee made repeatedly and without evidence as if it was factual.:
‘[Carlson was] ‘implying without evidence that he had unauthorized access to classified documents found at his father’s home.’
Trump acolyte Rudy Giuliani leaked the fake information to The New York Post and to Steve Bannon. This in spite of this — Hunter Biden never consented to release his personal information. The younger Biden’s letter reaad:
‘This failed dirty political trick directly resulted in the exposure, exploitation, and manipulation of Mr. Biden’s private and personal information. Politicians and the news media have used this unlawfully accessed, copied, distributed, and manipulated data to distort the truth and cause harm to Mr. Biden.’
Renowned Washington, D.C. attorney Abe Lowell has been representing Hunter and signed the letter asking for the Department of Justice to investigate the incident. The son wanted both Giuliani, close Trump strategist Bannon, and the Wilmington computer repair shop owner investigated. The shop was where Hunter Biden had left his laptop in 2019.
Issac sent a duplicate of the laptop’s contents to Robert Costello, Giuliani’s attorney. That was when Trump’s inner circle of friends was making claims about the president’s son that were already proven false. Costello requested the ability to speak for the former New York Mayor. He noted:
‘[The frivolous lawsuit] reeks of desperation because they know judgment day is coming for the Bidens.’
The document to the prosecution requested the DOJ t investigate whether the data was still secure. Lowell wrote:
‘The actions described above more than merit a full investigation and, depending on the resulting facts, may merit prosecution under various statutes. It is not a common thing for a private person and his counsel to seek someone else being investigated, but the actions and motives here require it.’
It seems that Isaac, too, has written a tell-all book. Hunter’s attorney’s letter quoted passages from the book. These quotes showed that Isaac was well aware of the information contained in Biden’s laptop.
Hunter’s attorney also sent letters to the Delaware state attorney general and the IRS asking for investigations.
