Trump Launches Wednesday Tirade After Rupert Murdoch Distances Himself

Donald Trump has his knickers in a twist over media mogul Rupert Murdoch’s testimony in the Dominion voting machine company’s $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit. The owner of the Fox Corporation indicated he didn’t believe the big Trump lie — that the 2020 presidential election was stolen.

The ex-president claimed that there were “MASSIVE amounts of proof to the contrary.” It appeared that Murdoch’s words ripped right through Trump’s alternative reality. Instead of giving the Chairman of Fox a one-word insulting nickname, the previous resident of the White House let go, calling Murdoch and Fox hosts “MAGA Hating Globalist RINOS” on Truth Social.

Per The New York Times, Fox’s chairman acknowledged that some at Fox “endorsed” false narratives after the 2020 election, adding:

‘I WOULD HAVE LIKED US TO BE STRONGER IN DENOUNCING IT, IN HINDSIGHT.’

Under oath, Murdoch admitted he recognized there was no fraud in the 2020 election:

‘WE THOUGHT EVERYTHING WAS ON THE UP-AND-UP. I THINK THAT WAS SHOWN WHEN WE ANNOUNCED ARIZONA.’

Murdoch condemned himself when admitting that he could have stopped his talk show hosts from airing lies from Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell:

‘I COULD HAVE. BUT I DIDN’T.’

Apparently, Trump did not consider the consequences of his actions when he wrote that Murdoch was “aiding & abetting the DESTRUCTION OF AMERICA with FAKE NEWS.”

Check out what Trump posted on Truth Social:

‘If Rupert Murdoch honestly believes that the Presidential Election of 2020, despite MASSIVE amounts of proof to the contrary, was not Rigged & Stolen, then he & his group of MAGA Hating Globalist RINOS should get out of the News Business as soon as possible, because they are aiding & abetting the DESTRUCTION OF AMERICA with FAKE NEWS. Certain BRAVE & PATRIOTIC Fox News Hosts, who he scorns and ridicules, got it right. He got it wrong. THEY SHOULD BE ADMIRED & PRAISED, NOT REBUKED & FORSAKEN!!!’

On Wednesday, the previous POTUS also tried to gin up his followers’ fears by claiming the nation “is under attack.” Trump blamed “the Fake News Media, CRIME, and an INVASION at our Southern Border.”

The ex-president pointed on Truth Social to how he garnered 55 percent of the Republican primary voters in an Emerson College poll taken February 24-25. Florida’s Ron DeSantis only had 25 percent, former Vice President Mike Pence came in at 8 percent, and the remaining contenders were ranked with even lower numbers:

‘Our Country is under attack by the Fake News Media, CRIME, and an INVASION at our Southern Border. WE MUST TAKE BACK THE WHITE HOUSE IN 2024, AND MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!’

Then, the ex-president added a convenient Emerson College poll graphic for those who were more visually oriented.
