In a recent interview on MSNBC, former longtime Trump ally Michael Cohen sharply criticized the corruption surrounding Trump and called attention to the possibility of serious misconduct involving some kind of information transfer to Saudi Arabia. Cohen was speaking in the context of the federal investigation into Trump harboring classified documents from his time in office in simultaneity with the established affinity seen at times between Trump’s inner circle and Saudi leadership.

Trump even tried to deflect blame from the country’s Mohammed bin Salman after his believed involvement in the murder of Jamal Khashoggi. Later, Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner received billions of dollars in Saudi support for his investment operation that he founded after leaving government. Cohen called for further investigation from the Justice Department into these circumstances.

“This whole $2+ billion to an unqualified hedge funder makes no sense to me,” Cohen said. “And in light of the information that came out that there was military information on Iran, and we all know that Saudi Arabia has had Iranian aggression on their mind for a long time, who knows what was shown to them? Who knows what was discussed? Who knows what was sold? None of us.” Cohen also accused Trump of likely profiting from any such arrangement, a possibility that has also emerged in other concerned conversations about what’s gone down.

There was actually previous reporting that asserted the investigative team of Special Counsel Jack Smith had sought information about foreign business entanglements at the Trump family business, including its relationship with LIV Golf. That league has enjoyed massive amounts of Saudi funding from the same general pot from which Kushner benefited, and the Trump Organization has seemingly raked in millions via hosting multiple events for the burgeoning league. Donald also promotes LIV publicly. Check out Cohen’s comments below:
