Jared Kushner Makes Big Daddy Trump Mad As Hell

Donald Trump must lead a charmed life. He immersed himself in the rough real-estate business, shady deals, projects with dictators. The Russia mafia even has a place at Trump Tower, but POTUS always seems to walk away unscathed — until now.

Reforming the federal prison system has been close to Jared Kushner’s heart ever since he made his own weekly visits to his father in prison. The son-in-law was 26 when his father was arrested for a white-collar crime. The elder Kushner hired a prostitute to have sex with his brother-in-law, taped it, and sent the tape to his own sister. That was only the top layer of the Kushner family’s crimes.

Jared worked with both parties on the Hill to get his criminal reform bill passed under the First Step Act. It gave some nonviolent inmates an opportunity to shorten their time in prison. Sex offenders have been properly excluded from the program.

It seemed that POTUS believed he had been undervalued by Jared’s popularity and referred to his son-in-law trying to “jawbone” the crime bill issue in the younger man’s every speech.

Just as he reached the finish line, the president let it be known, “telling people he’s mad” at his son-in-law, Politico reported:

‘He’s really mad that he did it. He’s saying that he’s furious at Jared because Jared is telling him he’s going to get all these votes of all these felons.’

The president did not see the bill as an advantage in the 2020 presidential election. In fact, he never mentioned it at his rallies or elsewhere.

An individual with knowledge of a White House meeting said:

‘It was clear he thinks it’s a total dud. He made it abundantly clear he doesn’t think it’s worth talking about.’

One of the White House officials said:

‘It would be difficult to say it’s a change of heart. I don’t think his heart was ever really in it.’

A close friend of the White House said:

‘He’s been telling Jared, ‘I got nothing from that. Jared has got all these stats like ‘every rapist in Florida is now going to vote Republican. Trump doesn’t believe it and he’s mad Jared sold him this thing.’

That individual continued referring to CNN pundit and former Obama advisor Van Jones called the First Step Act a “Christmas miracle:”

‘Jones was happy with Trump for a day. That’s all Trump got.’

Jones said that Trump was frustrated over how little credit he was given:

‘There’s always been a bunch of people in the building, they didn’t like it before, during or after, and they’ve always been able to leak out anonymous bullshit quotes that then very quickly have egg on their faces because Trump does something else positive in this direction of throws in another line in a speech.’

The White House shot back:

‘The only thing that’s disappointing to President Trump here is the same media, political pundits and elected officials that talked about the vital importance of criminal justice reform for decades fell silent and refused to give credit to the only one who was able to deliver: Donald Trump.’.

A former Senate Republican staffer said:

‘You let people out of jail early, commute sentences, something bad happens because of this effort [and] it’s going to be one more egg on their face – or even worse, blood on their hands.’

A different Republican aide directed people’s attention toward the Republican Louisana gubernatorial candidate, Eddie Rispone and his negative political ads. He just announced he was taking on Governor John Bel Edwards.

Rispone said that Edwards would put “violent” criminals out on the street to rob, attack, and murder. The aide said:

‘Any smart political person would not go out bragging that they let criminals out of jail.’
