During an interview with Trump ally Steve Bannon, Christina Bobb — among those criminally charged in a new case in Arizona that relates to an attempt there to assemble purported Trump electoral votes despite Biden winning — suggested that she could spend the rest of her life in jail if eventually found guilty in the case.

“I think you laid it out pretty well. I’m curious to see how this is going to play out. I’m working hard to fight against it, and we’re not going to stop. We’re going to keep going,” Bobb told Bannon, later adding of a possible sentence: “I assume it would be the rest of my life in prison.” She’s charged specifically with a series of felonies. Other defendants in the case include individuals who joined as sham electors backing Trump, Trump allies like John Eastman and Michael Roman, and reportedly Rudy Giuliani — mirroring criminal proceedings that have emerged elsewhere, including in Georgia, Michigan, and Nevada.

Bobb’s interview was reported earlier by Raw Story.

Amid the investigation in the Michigan case, authorities reportedly recently pursued search warrants that ultimately produced a series of communication records from accounts tied to Trump-linked lawyer Kenneth Chesebro, who wasn’t charged in Michigan but was part of the multi-state fake electors mess.

They got records from X (formerly Twitter) and Google, showing — among other things — reportedly a series of failed outreach by Chesebro. He apparently offered assistance with accommodations for Washington, D.C., around January 6, 2021, and tried pushing Trump allies’ election stances… largely to no avail, whether the outcome was mockery of the election maneuvers or far-right media figure Jim Hoft telling Chesebro that he was already set.

Giuliani and others were also charged in a semi-related Georgia criminal case that remains ongoing despite winding attempts by some facing the case to push out lead prosecutor Fani Willis.
