Do any of the Trumps have any self-awareness whatsoever? Highlighting their apparent disconnect from the basic realities of their situation — like the evidence-supported impeachment inquiry House Democrats are pursuing into the president — in the last couple days or so, Ivanka Trump’s personal Twitter feed has again turned into a more of a showcase for her wannabe chic personal and family life than anything else. Is there nothing else that comes to mind that you might need to be concerned about, Ivanka? Anything? Hint: it starts with i and ends – hopefully! – with the end of the Trump family’s time in government.
On Saturday, Ivanka posted a photo of her and husband Jared Kushner pretty dressed up and standing in a doorway looking over their children, one of whom was dressed up as a Stormtrooper character from the Star Wars franchise for some reason.
She wrote:

The force of… crime? Investigations? Corruption? Money? Gold bathrooms? There’s a lot more to the story of the Trumps than what Ivanka’s freewheeling attempt to go “hey look at my normal family!” seems to suggest.
As one commenter put it:
‘If tone-deafness was a super power, you’d be Captain Marvel.’
Another added:
‘None of this will make us like you. What y’all did to [Khashoggi] is going to come out next.’
In the wake of revelations about Donald’s efforts to recruit Ukrainian authorities for opposition research work on an opponent, efforts to cover up his communications with leaders of other countries like Saudi Arabia have also come out.
Ivanka hasn’t really responded to this or most any other scandal that’s emerged from the Trump administration. That’s kind of her thing at this point — only emerging from the shadows to kind of sort of do something once in awhile, despite her continued in theory work as an adviser to her father.
