Donald Trump is getting desperate. People can tell by the number of tweets he sends out — 21 and counting. He made a very wrong decision last night to withdraw the American troops from protecting the Kurds who fought alongside us against ISIS, who is delighted with Trump’s unwavering support of dictators in Turkey and Russia.
The president tweeted frantically throwing out terms like “deep state,” “the radical left,” “do nothing (si) Democrats,” my great and unmatched wisdom:”
‘”Incomes much higher under Trump than Bush, Obama.” @foxandfriends And almost everything else is better also (except I am driving the Deep State, and the Radical Left, Do Nothing Democrats, CRAZY)!’
He continued his rant, claiming the Heritage Foundation’s “numbers are blockbusters:”
‘Heritage Foundation “These numbers are blockbusters. Just since Donald Trump took office, Median Family Incomrs (sic) are up over $4,100. In 8 years under President Obama, they only went up $1000. In one third the time, President Trump has increased incomes 4 times as much, and that…’
Then, Trump lied about family income in America:
‘….doesn’t even include the almost $2000 that the families got from the Trump Tax Cut.” Stephen Moore, Freedomworks That means $5000 to $6000 more in disposable yearly income that Americans have right now because of President Trump!’
POTUS attacked the “radical left Democrats:”
‘The Radical Left Democrats have failed on all fronts, so now they are pushing local New York City and State Democrat prosecutors to go get President Trump. A thing like this has never happened to any President before. Not even close!’
The president claimed the reason he was elected was to get out of “ridiculous endless wars:”
‘I was elected on getting out of these ridiculous endless wars, where our great Military functions as a policing operation to the benefit of people who don’t even like the USA. The two most unhappy countries at this move are Russia & China, because they love seeing us bogged…..’
Trump took credit in a hyperbolic statement that he built a “stronger than ever before” military:
‘….down, watching over a quagmire, & spending big dollars to do so. When I took over, our Military was totally depleted. Now it is stronger than ever before. The endless and ridiculous wars are ENDING! We will be focused on the big picture, knowing we can always go back & BLAST!’
Next, Trump retweeted conservative author Kurt Schlichter:
‘Turkey is invading Northrrn (sic) Syria. The President is keeping us out of it. The gang that never met a war they didn’t want to fight (and fail to win) will be outraged. When they howl, ask them one thing. Ask them exactly how many American lives it’s worth. I say “Zero.”’
From there, he retweeted conservative commentator Hugh Hewitt who tried to turn American eyes away from the bloodbath Trump has thrust upon the Kurds with Turkey invading:
‘I went w/@AmbJohnBolton to Jerusalem and Ankara in January Michael. I don’t know what we can do other than a staged withdrawal or a permanent garrison. The challenge of the century is on the seas, in space and in Asia. It is not on the Turkish-Syrian border.’
Hewitt continued, but he was alarmed about Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s invasion into Kurdish terrotory. “We can’t be in the middle of a Turk-Kurd war in Syria:”
‘Stream of stories in @Jerusalem_Post about @realDonaldTrump and Turkey: google.com/amp/s/m.jpost. Now breaking news of an Erdogan visit to U.S. so a “deal” of some sort is at hand. We can’t be in middle of a Turk-Kurd war in Syria.’
Hewitt continued:
‘Turkey can’t want a war with Kurds but if it does we can’t be killing Turks with Americans throughout Turkey, our base there. Some will cast any deal w/ Turkey as @realDonaldTrump getting close w/ a dictator. It’s not. It’s dealing with the realities that we can’t stay forever.’
Interesting that Trump would be retweeting anything that went against pulling American troops out of Syria. For some reason, Hewitt thought US soldiers might be killing Turks:
After that, Trump retweeted Mike, as in Mike Duran the middle-eastern expert who apparently supported the Kurd’s 100 years of being guaranteed a vote:
‘We aligned under Obama not with “the Kurds,” but with the PKK, the sworn enemy of the Turkish Republic, our ally. We were sowing the seeds of a Turkish-PKK war with that policy. We were also driving Turkey toward Russia.’
Then, Trump went back to Duran. This time he went to the archives where Doran anticipated a “tsunami of wishful thinking” in Washington:
‘From the archives | Surprised by what you’re seeing in Northern Syria? I’m not. Back in January 2018, I explained the dilemma that Obama put us in with respect to Turkey, and described the tsunami of wishful thinking that was washing over Washington |’
Next, Trump spoke about his “great and unmatched wisdom” about Turkey and how he could turn and “obliterate the economy of Turkey:”
‘As I have stated strongly before, and just to reiterate, if Turkey does anything that I, in my great and unmatched wisdom, consider to be off limits (sic), I will totally destroy and obliterate the Economy of Turkey (I’ve done before!). They must, with Europe and others, watch over…’
Trump continued, stating it was time “for others” to “protect their own territory:”
‘…the captured ISIS fighters and families. The U.S. has done far more than anyone could have ever expected, including the capture of 100% of the ISIS Caliphate. It is time now for others in the region, some of great wealth, to protect their own territory. THE USA IS GREAT!’
