We knew that Donald Trump leaps over the do-not-go-beyond-this-fence sign all of the time and dances on the cliff close to empty space, but has he gone completely over the edge? In a traditional Senate, the country could count on men of honor and integrity putting a check on him, but not now. Realizing that they could easily lose their Senate race, these people are legislating from their own cliffs.
They want to give Trump, actually the GOP, the third Supreme Court Justice. She is a woman from a strange detour from the Catholic faith to overturn Roe v. Wade, kill Obamacare, and submit to her husband’s wishes. They should really be interviewing him. Senators Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) have broken the Senate by not having any higher calling than installing judges.
Senate Leader McConnell takes off on vacation as Americans are literally starving and facing unprecedented foreclosures and evictions. The Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell urged the legislators to give people their $1200 and additional funds or face a Greater Depression. Instead, McConnell went home, you know, the threat of COVID-19.
The Judicial Committee for the Supreme Court choice can stay open though. Let Lindsey Graham sans mask give his life on the altar of Trumpism to bring this clunky excuse for a Senate home on a short runway.
Trump’s tweets have gone all paranoid. He tweeted that the heads of the FBI, NSA, and CIA spied upon his campaign. Then, he started typing in all caps and screaming “Do something!” He is on mega-doses of steriods and on a bad trip:
