Donald Trump is such a whiner. Everywhere he goes, he complains about being cold. Most presidents just suck it up, but not this one. Then, he hops onto his nice warm plane and jets away. Meanwhile, he leaves those who attend his rallies in the cold Pennsylvania night air. They are simply expendable props to him.
Trump apparently, did not care that he abandoned his rally attendees in what turned out to be a transportation debacle. He was was warm, and that was all that concerned him, according to The Newsweek magazine:
‘Biden is a proven Castro puppet! Vote TRUMP’
President Donald Trump‘s fans expected the shuttle buses to be waiting for them, but as they looked around, the parking area was hollow, bereft of buses. They waited and waited and waited. This president likes to pull up in his plane, hop off, and speak to the people. For that to happen, his public must park their cars at some distance and take buses to the tarmac.
Saturday night, they waited about two hours for the shuttle busses to take them back to their cars at the Butler, Pennsylvania airport, which is near Pittsburgh.
Washington correspondent for CNN, Ryan Nobles tweeted at about 8:30 pm ET Saturday night:
‘We walked roughly a mile to the media parking lot and found our car and were able to begin driving out.’
Trump was far more interested in Fox News’ Chris Wallace calling him out:
‘Chris Wallace of @FoxNews, by far the lowest rated (sic) of the Sunday morning news programs, can’t get over his poor debate performance, probably even worse than Sleepy Joe’s. His show is a total “hit job” on your favorite President, me!’
The problem all started with Trump’s rally-a-thon, and this was the third of four pitstops. He thinks that if only his people see him, they will come to his side. But with his campaign leaving them stranded, his pitstops may be for naught.
Nobles covered the event and called what happened a “massive logistical nightmare.” Thousands of people, many elderly and thus more susceptible to the cold, had to wait in the cold for hours. It was not as if this had never happened before.
Trump frankly could have cared less. He bounded from Michigan to Iowa:
‘Michigan was GREAT! Landing now in Dubuque, Iowa. See you soon.’
Tuesday, Trump left his attendees stranded in Omaha, Nebraska in freezing temperatures waiting hours for shuttle buses to return. them to their parking lot. There were seven people who were hospitalized for prolonged exposure to the cold, according to the Associated Press, (AP).
The Deputy National Secretary at Trump’s campaign Samantha Zager said road closures were responsible for the holdup.
Nobles appeared on the Anderson Cooper news show and said many of the people just walked several miles back to their cars after the breakdown. He and his CNN crew admitted that their vehicles were closer to the event than others
