GOP Reveals Latest Lawsuit In Arizona & It’s Just Sad

The Republican legislators are being dragged around behind “a foul-tempered monarch,” a “blind fury” reminiscent of Lewis Carroll’s Queen of Hearts in his book Alice in Wonderland. Someone who will shout at the slightest offense “Off with his head!” See Gutenberg.org. Donald Trump turns this way and that as the long line of Republicans swing around behind him much like in the childhood game of Crack the Whip. Woe to the person at the end.

The Republicans treat Trump ever so gently, walking around on eggshells like someone in an abusive relationship. They have been staying silent as he refuses to accept his loss, especially when a “girl” is beating him, too. So, the GOP makes excuses for him, calling him “difficult.” They give him a few days to come around, then a week. They say once the frivolous lawsuits are thrown out, then they can move onward.

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) has taken on the guise of his boss, becoming a mini-dictator, a rabid weasel. Senator Ted Cruse (R-TX) knows better, but he apparently enjoys this role, too. Most of t the Republicans just remain deathly silent.

In truth, they are just cowards, and the power behind their jobs is more important to them than the safety and security of the American people. They should all lose their jobs with the possible except of the four senators who did congratulate President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris: Senators Mitt Romney (R-UT), Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) Bill Sasse (R-NB), and Susan Collins (R-MN).

Trump’s latest lawsuit in Arizona is over a maximum of 180 votes, and that is no typo. The sitting president refuses to let his GAO certify Biden-Harris. That way he keeps the Dems out of the crooked depths of his government agencies. It gives him the false hope that he will stall long enough for the vote to go to the House.  A vote there would move Trump into a second term. Unfortunately for him, that does not fit in this case.

Attorney General (AG) William Barr has authorized the Department of Justice (DOJ) to investigate any “substantial allegations” of voter fraud during the election.

The Republican National Committee, the Trump campaign, and the Arizona Republican Party went to court Monday. Their lawsuit contends Maricopa County poll workers “consistently, regularly and systematically” took action that deprived Trump of “potentially thousands” of votes.

Make that 180 votes, and that assumes that all of them would go to Trump. Any ballot that overvoted in person or any other irregularity would be among those votes. Then, the individual could fill out a new one or resubmit it.

Trump’s people claimed lots of poll workers were telling people to resubmit them or doing it for them instead of setting those ballots into a group for additional review. The administration’s lawsuit claimed it was “systemic poll worker error,” according to The Arizona Central:

‘If these ballots are reviewed and adjudicated by the Ballot Duplication Board, they will yield up to thousands of additional votes for President Trump and for other Republican candidates.’

The Deputy Maricopa County Attorney Tom Liddy explained to the judge on Monday that only 180 of the 165,860 ballots entered in person on Election Day had potential overvotes in the presidential race:

‘One-hundred and eighty. That’s it.’

And for these, the angry Trump crowd railed against the conspiracy to “steal our vote” outside of where the counting took place? The judge actually set a hearing date for Thursday morning to hear evidence.
