The woman is a powerhouse with the full force of our American Constitution behind her in the January 6 House Select Committee. Representative Liz Chaney (R-WY) established herself as a strong force dedicated to our nation’s democracy. Her politics may vary greatly from the Democrats, but not her love for our country. She also challenged her fellow Republicans, asking “Do we hate our political adversaries more than we revere our Constitution?”
She said in her opening remarks, The New York Times reported:
“Will we be so blinded by partisanship that we throw away the miracle of America? Do we hate our political adversaries more than we love our country and revere our Constitution?’
Cheney is one of just two House Republicans who would agree to serve on the Select Committee. The other brave and honorable Republican is Representative Adam Kinzinger (R-IL). Just two.
The Wyoming representative “dared her colleagues to support a full investigation into the worst attack on Congress in centuries.” In her latest tweet, she said:
