Remember when Former First Lady Melania Trump wore a jacket that read “I Really Don’t Care, Do U?” on her way to visit victims of an American hurricane? She has always been something of an enigma, and the message on this $39 jacket was also a mystery, the BBC wrote. Now we find out that, apparently, Mrs. Trump has a temper, too. She did not move into the White House immediately, because she needed time to “cool off,” The Washington Post reporter and author Mary Jordan noted.
The former first lady also used her not-moving from New York to Washington D.C. position “as leverage for renegotiating her prenuptial agreement with President Trump.” At one point, the former first lady became frustrated and told journalists condemning her husband that she knew what she was getting into when she married him.
But a new book by her former chief of staff Stephanie Grisham rocked her world. Would the author ruin former White House cast members Mrs. Trump wondered and CNN News picked it up? The former first lady’s communications director and top staffer was ready to dish dirt.
Melania Trump responded:
‘The author is desperately trying to rehabilitate her tarnished reputation by manipulating and distorting the truth about Mrs.Trump,” she said in a statement issued by her office. Ms. Grisham is a deceitful and troubled individual who doesn’t deserve anyone’s trust.’
The former president issued his own condemnation last week:
‘Too bad that sleaze bag publishers continue to report this very boring garbage. We and the MAGA movement are totally used to it. And someday in the not too distant future we will have our voice back and be treated fairly by the press.’
Melania released a statement about the author via her office saying that “Ms. Grisham is a deceitful and troubled individual:”
‘The author is desperately trying to rehabilitate her tarnished reputation by manipulating and distorting the truth about Mrs.Trump. Ms. Grisham is a deceitful and troubled individual who doesn’t deserve anyone’s trust.’
The former president also chimed in by issuing his own bored response last week:
‘Too bad that sleaze bag publishers continue to report this very boring garbage. We and the MAGA movement are totally used to it. And someday in the not too distant future we will have our voice back and be treated fairly by the press.’
CNN’s White House Correspondent Kate Bennett tweeted:
