Hunter Biden’s Legal Team Moves To Obtain Consequences After Laptop Leaked

John Paul Mac Isaac, who has helped circulate what have been marketed as the contents of a personal laptop of the president’s son Hunter, was put under oath Wednesday for a deposition in ongoing litigation related to the device and subsequent leaks.

Mac Isaac has prominently appeared on Fox News, besides the many other avenues where files evidently tracing to him have been distributed publicly. Hunter Biden, to be clear, does not seem to have any intention of running for any political office, and it doesn’t appear he has been involved in any official capacity in his father’s presidential administration. No evidence has conclusively emerged tying Joe to Hunter’s business dealings either, observers have asserted. (“None of the bank records reviewed by Committee staff allege, or even suggest, any potential misconduct by President Biden, nor do they show President Biden’s involvement in Hunter Biden’s business relationships,” a past Democratic press release said.)

Mac Isaac was questioned by Abbe Lowell, a lawyer for Hunter, who filed a countersuit after litigation from the computer repairman, who has claimed the device he’s publicized was left behind by the president’s son. Though legal standards allowed for Mac Isaac to eventually take legal possession of the ostensibly abandoned device, “Hunter’s lawyers have argued that Mac Isaac only had a right to the hardware, not the contents of the hard drive he claimed to possess,” Axios said.

Others may soon be deposed in these same proceedings, as Hunter’s team has expressed an interest in questioning Steve Bannon and Rudy Giuliani, who have helped draw attention to the files tied to Hunter. Fox News also very consistently returns to the topic, and the network has even aired revealing details — including blurred (but obviously originally explicit) sexual images.

Republicans in Congress have been desperately trying to connect Joe Biden to alleged corruption here, but they keep encountering obstacles. Evidently, the FBI — which remains led at present by Christopher Wray, a Trump pick — has resisted providing Republicans in Congress with a copy of an official document outlining allegations of bribery involving Joe and covering his past time in politics. Absurdly, Republicans haven’t even explained much about the actual claims, trying to get away with spreading vague accusations without even building any case at all!
