Back in November, Infowars and Roger Stone associate, Jerome Corsi, admitted on a YouTube live stream that he is expecting to be indicted by Robert Mueller for “giving false information to the special counsel or to one of the other grand jury or however they want to do the indictment.”

Watch:

“I am going to be criminally charged,” Corsi said, after making public a plea deal from Special Counsel Mueller, in which Corsi would have to plead guilty to at least one count that he made false claims to investigators. If he accepted that deal, he would serve no prison time, but instead, Corsi rejected this deal and said that he’s prepared to die in prison.

It looks like Corsi may be regretting that statement, because tonight, he filed a lawsuit against Robert Mueller for intending “to coerce, extort, threaten and/or blackmail him into submission and designed to remove the current president of the United States for political and other improper purposes.”

The complaint says:

‘Defendant Mueller and his prosecutorial staff have demanded that Plaintiff Corsi falsely testify that he acted as a liaison between Roger Stone and WikiLeaks leader Julian Assange concerning the public release of emails downloaded from the DNC’s servers.’

According to Politico:

‘Prosecutors from Mueller’s office proposed that Corsi admit that he repeatedly lied to investigators about his interactions with Stone about his interest in emails WikiLeaks could release that would be damaging to Trump’s Democratic opponent, Hillary Clinton. In the draft plea documents, Corsi was to concede that his falsely said he rebuffed Stone’s attempt to go through him to make contact with WikiLeaks; falsely denied that Stone asked him to enlist someone else in the effort; and falsely denied conveying information about what hacked emails WikiLeaks had.’

It appears that this is just another attempt by Corsi to derail Mueller’s investigation. Just last week Corsi filed a criminal complaint against Mueller, which of course was picked up by Fox News who reported all of it as if Corsi was speaking the truth.

Corsi’s current suit mimics what the right-wing media is saying, that “Defendant Mueller and his leftist and Democrat partisan prosecutorial and ethically and legally conflicted staff,” but obviously we all know that’s a flat out lie. Robert Mueller is a lifelong, career Republican who was appointed as FBI Director by President George W. Bush.

Corsi, like Donald Trump, is grasping at straws, but once this lawsuit is dismissed, he’ll be forced to either take Mueller’s deal or eat his words and “die in prison” like he said he was prepared to do.

By the way, Corsi is suing Mueller for $350 million in damages. Good luck with that, pal.
