Donald Trump, the man who rose to political prominence by lying about President Obama’s birth certificate and criticizing everything he did on Twitter (only to support doing those same things now that he’s in office), cannot handle criticism. It’s not only criticism he can’t handle, though, but it’s also just basic question from the press.
Trump Attacked Reporter Jon Karl for Asking Why He won't sign bills to get fed workers paid during the shutdown.

ABC reporter Jon Karl asked Trump a very simple question following the tantrum that led him to storm out of a meeting with Democratic leadership to negotiate reopening parts of the government to avoid sending 800,000 workers into poverty. Trump was offered smaller funding bills in order to avoid at least part of the consequences of the shutdown but refused. Karl asked him why.
Trump then went on a tear, asking Karl repeatedly if that’s what he would have done. No matter how many times Karl said that it was not for him to say since he’s a reporter and not the president, Trump kept doubling down, at one point spitting out “I’ve seen your one-sided coverage.” Over and over again, Trump demanded Karl answer the question as to whether or not he would have signed those bills as president.
Finally, Karl explained that he was simply curious since signing them would avoid throwing hundreds of thousands of Americans into financial ruin. Trump then smirked and said, “if you would do that, you should never be in this position.” His sycophantic cronies tittered behind him.
Twitter had a strong reaction to the thin-skinned bully-in-chief. Read some of their comments below:
