When a military-grade weapon shoots people, it breaks bones and causes organs to rupture. Those are what the two shooters used on people just shopping for school supplies at an El Paso, Texas Walmart and waiting in line at a popular restaurant in Dayton, Ohio. Within 24-hour period shooters dressed similarly attacked. The first shooter certainly was a white nationalist. Here is how Donald Trump reacted to the 29 dead Americans, the wounded, and the people he is supposed to lead:
He gave details about the shootings “the FBI, local, and state law enforcement” worked in tandem. Yet, POTUS did not come out and condemn the shooters on television:
‘The FBI, local and state law enforcement are working together in El Paso and in Dayton, Ohio. Information is rapidly being accumulated in Dayton. Much has already be learned in El Paso. Law enforcement was very rapid in both instances. Updates will be given throughout the day!’
The president needs to realize he has motivated people to commit hate crimes with the language he uses in his 2020 campaign speech rallies and quit. Prayers have not stopped the shootings that have ripped through cities in this nation. He could do far better:
‘God bless the people of El Paso Texas. God bless the people of Dayton, Ohio.’
Twitter world caught fire after these tragedies. These are some of our favorites below:
