Comedian Mel Brooks and his son Max put out a Twitter video for people to keep their distance and avoid catching or giving someone else the COVID-19 virus. The elder Brooks is behind a glass window and separate from Max for both of their sakes…and for the sakes of many older comedians, such as Dick Van Dyke and Carl Reiner.
Physician, diplomat, and coordinator of the coronavirus response coordinator for the White House Coronavirus Task Force Dr. Deborah Birx, world-renowned immunologist Dr. Anthony Fauci, and head of the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) Dr. Stephan Hahn are on Donald Trump’s anti-virus task force. They are not the president’s son-in-law Jared Kushner’s shadow task force.
The president’s public task force appeared in a video urging people to practice “social distancing!” That is maintaining a distance between people beyond the reach of the virus. Some say that is six feet, some say 10. The president came into the White House press room Thursday, and he said that his administration was working for “rapidly. quickly, and fast deployment of treatments.”
Then, POTUS said no one has “worked harder than me!” After that, he complimented the guys by name for working around the clock to find solutions. Of course, he left Dr. Birx out of his list of names. Nevermind that she is the top doc.
