Donald Trump may have just realized that when he kills the equivalent of 11,959 busloads of kindergarteners, that is not a good look. Of course, he refuses to take any responsibility, so POTUS blames China. Interestingly enough, he refers to the “invisible China virus.” Does he think the virus travels under a cloaking shield? All of a sudden, the commander-in-chief is shouting that wearing a face mask is “patriotic,” and boy, oh boy, there is no one more patriotic than “your favorite president.”
Why the fast about-face on the coronavirus? Someone must have said that he was going to lose his election if he did not go Democratic on this horrid disease. Of course, his favorite acolytes Governor Ron DeSantis (R-CA) has ordered his state’s children to offer up their lives, just so that he can garner a little presidential approval. DeSantis demanded that children march double-time right into their classrooms five days a week.
What is wrong with these people? It would take about half a cup of common sense to stop Republican governors from opening up schools to our most precious sons and daughters.
Hopefully, Trump will not get whiplash from his COVID-19 U-turn, because the hospitals all across the southern apron of America are filled to over-capacity. He tweeted:
‘We are United in our effort to defeat the Invisible China Virus, and many people say that it is Patriotic to wear a face mask when you can’t socially distance. There is nobody more Patriotic than me, your favorite President!’
